# Add Funds and Understand Wallet Credits
ApiSmart uses a prepaid wallet for API usage. Before sending paid API requests, add funds to your wallet and confirm that the credit has been added to your available balance.
API fees are deducted from the wallet according to the selected model and actual usage. Different text, image, and video models may use different billing methods.

### ๐ณ Add Funds to Your Wallet
To add funds to your ApiSmart wallet:
1. [Sign in to your ApiSmart account](/account-and-wallet/create-and-access-your-account.md).
2. Open **Token Packages โ Wallet**.
3. Select a top-up package or enter a custom top-up amount.
4. Review the **Top Up Amount**, **Top Up Bonus**, and **Total Credit**.
5. Choose an available payment method.
6. Read and agree to the **Terms of Service** and **Privacy Policy**.
7. Select **Proceed to Checkout**.
8. Complete the payment by following the checkout instructions.
9. Return to the ApiSmart dashboard.
10. Confirm that the **Total Credit** has been added to your **Current Balance**.

### Supported Payment Methods
ApiSmart currently supports credit and debit cards, **WeChat Pay/Alipay**, and multiple cryptocurrencies.
#### Credit or Debit Card
> Select **Credit/Debit Card ยท Stripe**, review the Order Details, select **Proceed to Checkout**, and complete the payment using the instructions provided by Stripe.
#### WeChat Pay or Alipay
> Select **WeChat Pay/Alipay**, continue to checkout, and complete the payment using the selected payment application.
#### Cryptocurrency
Select the cryptocurrency option shown at checkout and follow the payment instructions for the selected asset and blockchain network.
#### Before Sending a Cryptocurrency Payment
Confirm:
* Cryptocurrency
* Blockchain network
* Receiving address
* Required payment amount
* Order expiration time
Save the transaction hash after payment.
> โ ๏ธ **Important:** Always use the exact cryptocurrency, blockchain network, receiving address, and payment details shown for the current checkout session.

> USDT on TRC20, ERC20, and BEP20 uses different blockchain networks and receiving addresses. Sending funds through the wrong network may result in a delayed, failed, or unrecoverable transaction. Do not reuse an address or QR code from an expired or cancelled checkout session.

### ๐ก Understand the Order Details
Before proceeding to checkout, review the **Order Details** displayed on the payment page.
#### Top Up Amount
The **Top Up Amount** is the amount you pay for the order.
Example:

Top Up Amount: $39
```
#### Top Up Bonus
The **Top Up Bonus** is additional promotional credit included with an eligible top-up package.
Example:
```
Top Up Bonus: +$10
```
You do not pay separately for the bonus amount.
#### Total Credit
The **Total Credit** is the total amount added to your ApiSmart wallet after the payment is successfully processed.
The calculation is:
```
Total Credit = Top Up Amount + Top Up Bonus
```
For example:
```
Top Up Amount: $39
Top Up Bonus: +$10
Total Credit: $49
```
In this example, you pay $39 and receive $49 in wallet credit.\
A bonus is promotional wallet credit rather than a cash payment. Promotional bonus terms may vary. Review the current offer details before completing your top-up.

### Confirm Your Wallet Balance
After payment:
1. Return to **Token Packages โ Wallet**.
2. Confirm that **Current Balance** has increased.
3. Verify that the credited amount matches the **Total Credit** shown during checkout.
4. Open **My Orders** if you need to review the payment status.
A successful notification from a bank, payment application, exchange, or blockchain wallet does not always mean that the ApiSmart wallet update has completed. Confirm the available balance inside the ApiSmart dashboard.
Do not begin a large API workload until the credit is visible in your wallet.

### ๐๏ธ Redeem a Voucher
If you have an eligible voucher code:
1. Open **Token Packages โ Wallet**.
2. Enter the code under **Redeem Voucher**.
3. Select **Redeem**.
4. Confirm that your balance or applicable credit has been updated.

### How Wallet Balance Is Used
ApiSmart uses pay-as-you-go billing. API costs are deducted from your **Current Balance** based on the selected model and billing mode.
Language, image, and video models may use different billing units. See **Understand Model Pricing and Billing** for details.

### ๐ ๏ธ Troubleshoot Top-Up Problems
#### **Payment Completed but Balance Did Not Update**
* Refresh the Wallet page.
* Check **My Orders**.
* Confirm that you are signed in to the correct account.
* Wait briefly for processing to complete.
* Do not submit the same payment again immediately.
#### **Top-Up Bonus Is Missing**
Compare:
* **Top Up Amount**
* **Top Up Bonus**
* **Total Credit**
If the values do not match the checkout offer, save the Order ID and contact support.
#### **Top-Up Is Pending or Failed**
Check **My Orders** before starting another payment.
For cryptocurrency payments, also verify the transaction status and blockchain confirmations.
#### Why Is My Balance Lower Than Expected?
Common causes include:
* Recent API requests
* Background applications still running
* Multiple API Tokens using the same wallet
* Higher-cost models or generation settings
* Automatic retries

#### **Cryptocurrency Payment Has Not Arrived**
Confirm:
* Correct cryptocurrency
* Correct blockchain network
* Correct receiving address
* Correct payment amount
* Transaction hash
* Required blockchain confirmations
If the transaction is confirmed but your ApiSmart balance has not updated, save the Order ID and transaction hash and contact support.
#### I Sent the Wrong Cryptocurrency or Used the Wrong Network
Do not send another payment to the same address.
Save the **Order ID**, receiving address, payment amount, cryptocurrency, blockchain network, and transaction hash, then contact support as soon as possible.
> โ ๏ธ Recovery depends on technical availability and cannot be guaranteed.
#### I Was Charged More Than Once
Check whether the payments have different **Order IDs**.
If you believe the same order was paid more than once:
1. Save the payment records and Order IDs.
2. Do not spend any duplicated credit.
3. Contact support with the payment times, amounts, and screenshots.
#### I Added Funds to the Wrong Account
Confirm which account received the credit by checking:
* Registered email address
* Sign-in method
* Wallet balance
* **My Orders**
* **API Tokens**
* **Usage Logs**
Do not spend the balance before contacting support.
> Do not assume that wallet credit can be transferred between accounts. Contact ApiSmart support for assistance before using the credited balance.

### Refunds and Payment Reviews
Payment reviews, balance adjustments, and refunds are handled according to the current **Terms of Service** and applicable payment conditions.
If you believe a payment requires review, contact support and provide:
* Registered account email
* Order ID
* Payment date and time
* Payment amount
* Payment method
* Description of the issue
* Relevant screenshots
* Transaction hash for cryptocurrency payments, when applicable
* Related API request IDs, when applicable
Do not provide:
* Account password
* Full API Token
* Email verification code
* Password reset code
* Bank password
* Wallet private key
* Seed phrase

### ๐ Wallet Security Recommendations
To help protect your wallet balance:
* Protect the email or third-party account used to sign in.
* Use a strong, unique account password.
* Keep your API Tokens private and disable Tokens that are no longer in use.
* Review **Usage Logs** regularly for unfamiliar activity.
* Confirm that you are signed in to the correct account before making a payment.
* Verify cryptocurrency networks, addresses, and payment details carefully.
* Save Order IDs and payment confirmations when needed for troubleshooting.
API usage associated with your account may deduct fees from the same wallet balance. If an API Token may have been exposed, disable it immediately and review recent [**Usage Logs**](/api-usage/usage-logs-and-costs.md).
